You Can't go to a country and avoid the reality, some people here are struggling to live but even with that they are not complaining. If you like adventure and you are not very very picky about your comfort, this place is perfect experience. El gordo adventure kayak tour with a guide was really perfect, maybe the best activity during our holidays. The banana pancakes and the sausage breakfast was delicious. Listening to the waves at night was so lovely. Feels like a bit of a winding road through some of the houses and shops to get there but once you settle in you realise it is a total hidden gem. With his wife they have a very nice relationship with local kids and support them, e. The views in the morning are brilliant, for those who like to wake up with a bit of serinity in your surroundings. The room balcony has a beautiful view of the harbour. His wife made us breakfast every morning which was amazing! I love that the water was just outside. You work hard padling and the rewards is wonderful, the nicest beach, the island without all the tourist, you are alone and you enjoy, this is your choice to decide how long you want to stay on each beaches lagoons The accomodation itself is 15 min away from town so if you dont like Walking in the dark dont go, I saw a lot of bad coments concerning the area, but people there, are so nice, gently, the kids are so cute, I was feeling more in security than in Paris Metro.

Ryo 日本 Gordo was excellent! The view from the balcony is incredible whilst you eat the delicious breakfast you can buy from there.

Martin チェコ Gordon and his wife are very nice hosts, they gave us lot of tips, welcomed us like family. during X-mas time when they prepare small gifts for them. The location is remote from the town, you need to walk through local fisherman village - no danger, but not for everyone. They are both very relaxed, friendly and helpful. True experience, so much different to hotel resort, you get to know how rather poor form the surroundings live. They prepare amazing breakfast.
